U.S. actor George Clooney has partnered with several investors for a housing project of three billion dollars in Las Vegas (West), including a hotel, apartments and a casino, the promoters announced Monday in a statement.
By playing in 2001 in Ocean?s Eleven, a film which takes place in the city game, Clooney, 44, had the idea of ??this project, called Las Ramblas and whose The first installment should be inaugurated in 2008, the source said.
One of the main partners of the hero of the series ER in the case is the owner of nightclubs Rande Gerber, better known for being the husband of supermodel Cindy Crawford.
The complex will cover ten hectares and will have no less than 11 towers housing a luxury hotel, residences, bungalows, a fitness center, shopping mall and a casino. The name Las Ramblas recalls an artery of Barcelona (Spain) and refers to walk open included in the project.
